Seven to ten days is the sweet spot. That covers Cairo, the pyramids, a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, and time to rest. With five days you can see Cairo and Luxor without a cruise.

October to April is the most comfortable, with warm days and cool nights. Summer is very hot in Luxor and Aswan, so we plan early starts and afternoon breaks if you travel then.
