    How Booking With Nourbelle Works

    Quick answer

Choose a tour or request a private itinerary, confirm availability, review the services and terms, then pay the deposit. Your confirmation is the source of truth.

Choose a published tour or request a private itinerary, confirm availability, review the exact services and booking terms, then pay the applicable deposit to confirm. Cruise cabins and some flights can remain on request briefly. The confirmation, not a generic website promise, is the source of truth for deposit, balance, changes and cancellation.

Booking a trip to Egypt involves more moving parts than booking a single hotel. A typical itinerary combines hotels, a Nile cruise, domestic flights, guides, drivers and entrance arrangements, each from a different supplier with its own availability and rules. The booking process exists to bring all of those pieces into one confirmed file that you can rely on.

This guide explains each stage, from the first inquiry to the moment you land in Egypt, what is confirmed when, and which questions are worth asking before you pay anything. The binding details for your own trip are always the ones written in your booking confirmation.

    Step 1: Inquiry or selection

You can start in one of two ways. Choose a published tour with a set route and inclusions, or ask for a private itinerary built around your dates and interests.

Either way, share your dates, the number of travelers, your preferred pace and any important requests. Useful details include ages of children, mobility considerations, dietary needs, hotel style and whether your international flights are already booked.

    What a good proposal contains

The proposal should name the main services and state what is included and excluded. For Egypt that usually means the hotels or ship by name, the cabin or room category, which sites are visited with a guide, which transfers and flights are part of the price, and which costs remain with you, such as certain entrance fees, drinks or tips. If any of this is unclear, ask before moving forward. A clear proposal saves misunderstandings later.

    Step 2: Availability

Not every service confirms at the same speed. Hotels and guides may confirm quickly; Nile cruise cabins and some domestic flights can remain on request while the ship or airline responds.

"On request" simply means the service has been asked for but the supplier has not yet confirmed it. Nothing should be represented as confirmed until it is. If a particular ship or sailing date is the heart of your trip, it is worth knowing early whether it is confirmed or still pending, so that alternatives can be discussed while there is still choice.

Why cruises and flights take longer

Nile cruise ships manage their own cabin inventory and often sell through many channels at once, so a cabin request may need a direct reply from the ship. Domestic flight schedules can also shift, especially outside peak season. These are normal features of travel in Egypt rather than signs of a problem, but they are the reason a booking file shows the status of each service separately.

    Step 3: Deposit and confirmation

The applicable deposit secures the booking. Your confirmation lists the booked services, payment schedule and the cancellation and change terms that apply to that booking channel.

Read the confirmation carefully when it arrives. Check names exactly as they appear in passports, travel dates, room or cabin types, the services included and the dates by which any balance is due. If something does not match what you agreed, raise it straight away so it can be corrected in the same file.

Deposit, balance and what each one does

In travel generally, the deposit is what turns a proposal into a booking: it lets the operator commit to hotels, ships and flights on your behalf. The balance is the remaining amount, due on the date stated in your payment schedule. Put that date in your calendar when the confirmation arrives, because a missed balance date can affect the booking under the terms that apply. If you are unsure how or when to pay, ask before the due date rather than after.

Why terms depend on the booking channel

Nourbelle products can be booked in more than one way, for example directly or through a travel marketplace. Each channel can carry its own payment and cancellation terms. That is why there is no single universal free-cancellation claim across every channel, and why your own confirmation is the document that counts.

    Terms in brief

Current TourRadar bookings use a 30% nonrefundable deposit, a 50% cancellation charge 29 to 15 days before departure and a 100% cancellation charge 14 to 0 days before departure; add-ons are nonrefundable. Other channels must show their own applicable terms, and those terms appear on the confirmation for bookings made through them.

How to read cancellation terms in general

Across the travel industry, cancellation terms usually work on a sliding scale: the closer to departure you cancel, the higher the charge, because suppliers have held space for you and may not be able to resell it. Look for three things in any set of terms: whether the deposit is refundable, the dates at which charges increase, and whether add-ons or special services follow different rules. Do not assume the deposit is refundable unless the terms say so.

    Travel insurance

Because charges can apply when plans change, many travelers choose travel insurance that covers cancellation for reasons such as illness. Policies vary widely, so compare what each one covers and when it must be purchased. Your insurer, not the tour operator, decides what a policy will reimburse.

    Step 4: Before departure

We reconfirm operational services and send the final pickup, contact and document information before travel. Timing can vary by product, so the booking file should show the current status.

Before you leave, check that you have the final details you need: arrival pickup arrangements, emergency contact numbers, hotel and ship names, and any documents required for your entry to Egypt. Entry rules depend on your passport and can change, so please check the official source before you travel.

What to send us before travel

Share your final international flight numbers and arrival times, any changes to traveler names or numbers, and any new medical or dietary information. These details let the operations team line up pickups and inform hotels and ships in advance.

    Step 5: In Egypt

A local representative and operations team support the trip. Service changes should be recorded against the same booking rather than handled through a separate parallel record.

That last point matters more than it sounds. If you decide to add an excursion, change a dinner or move a transfer, asking through your representative or guide keeps everything in one file, so drivers, guides and hotels all work from the same information. Arranging extras separately on the side can lead to clashes, missed pickups or confusion about what has been paid.

    If something goes wrong

Contact your representative or the number in your travel documents as soon as an issue arises, whether it is a room problem, a missed pickup or a health concern. Problems are far easier to solve on the spot than after the trip.

Questions to ask before you pay

Before paying any deposit, it is reasonable to ask:

    • Which services are confirmed and which are still on request?
    • What exactly is included, and which costs will I pay locally?
    • What is the deposit, when is the balance due, and is the deposit refundable?
    • What happens if I need to change dates or the number of travelers?
    • Who supports me during the trip, and how do I reach them?

Clear answers to these questions, written into your confirmation, are good protection for your trip.

    Frequently asked questions

How quickly is a booking confirmed?

It depends on the services. Hotels and guides may confirm quickly; cruise cabins and some flights can take longer and remain clearly marked on request. Your booking file shows the status of each service so you always know what is settled.

    Can I cancel after booking?

Yes, but charges follow the cancellation terms attached to the booking. Do not assume the deposit is refundable, and check the dates at which charges increase before you commit.

What do I receive after paying the deposit?

A confirmation showing the booked services and payment terms, followed by the relevant invoices, vouchers and final travel information. Keep these documents accessible during the trip, ideally both on your phone and on paper.

Are the terms the same on every booking platform?

No. Each booking channel can have its own terms, and current TourRadar terms differ from other channels. The confirmation for your booking states the terms that apply to you.

Can I add services after I have booked?

Usually yes, subject to availability. Ask through the same booking so the addition appears in your file and is confirmed in writing, along with any cost and terms that apply to it.
