Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo

Meet our representative at Cairo International Airport for a seamless arrival. Experience a private transfer to your 5-star hotel, check-in, and settle into your accommodation for your first night stay in Cairo.

Day 2 – Pyramids Exploration

On today’s excursion you’ll explore 9 of Egypt’s most majestic pyramids, beginning with the Giza Plateau, where the iconic Giza Pyramids stand as timeless sentinels of Egypt’s grandeur. Admire the intricate craftsmanship and monumental scale of these ancient marvels as you delve into their rich history and significance.

Next, venture to Saqqara, home to the remarkable Step Pyramid of Djoser, a testament to the architectural prowess of Egypt’s early dynasties. Explore the sprawling necropolis, where the remnants of ancient tombs and monuments offer glimpses into the rituals and beliefs of ancient Egyptian society. Day 3 – Cairo’s Charms

Start your day at the Egyptian Museum, where you’ll be surrounded by ancient wonders like Tutankhamun’s golden mask and larger-than-life statues that bring Egypt’s past to life. Then, venture into the vibrant streets of Cairo for a culinary adventure! Treat yourself to local favorites like ta’amiya (Egyptian falafel) and koshari (a delicious mix of rice, lentils, pasta, and spicy tomato sauce topped with crispy onions).

Day 4 – Flight to Luxor, Karnak Complex, and Luxor Temple

Take an early transfer to the airport to board a short flight to Luxor, where you will embark on your Nile river cruise. Upon arrival in Luxor, your day’s exploration begins.

Observe the intricately etched columns of Karnak’s Great Hypostyle Hall, wander its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses II (Ramses the Great), the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis III. Then, delve into the open-air temple complex dedicated to the revered ancient Egyptian deities, such as Amun. Conclude your day by visiting the illuminated Luxor temple itself, where towering columns and monumental statues are brought to life, showcasing the timeless grandeur of this historic site.

Day 5 – Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut’s Temple

Today you’ll explore the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon and Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple. The Valley of the Kings contains 64 tombs and chambers ranging in size from a simple pit to a complex tomb with over 120 chambers. The amazing Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is widely considered one of the “incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt” located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari. The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Day 6 – Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan

This morning you’ll visit the Edfu Temple; one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt dedicated to the falcon god Horus. After having some time to explore, you will then set sail towards Kom Ombo where later, you’ll explore the grounds of Sobek and Horus. Upon arrival in Aswan, you will disembark your cruise and transfer to a hotel where you will settle into your accommodation for the night.

Day 7 – Aswan – (Optional Abu Simbel & Nubian Village visits)

Optional tour: You’ve got an excellent opportunity to embark on an early morning excursion to marvel at the majestic Great Temples of Abu Simbel. Crafted by Ramses II and Nefertari, these awe-inspiring temples are renowned for their splendor and the remarkable feat of being relocated in 1968 to avoid submersion beneath Lake Nasser.

Optional tour: Visit to the Nubian Village in the afternoon.

Day 8 – Sightseeing in Aswan

This morning, you’ll visit the enchanting Philae Temple, a sacred site dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis. Explore the intricate carvings and towering columns that tell stories of ancient rituals and devotion. Learn about the remarkable feat of relocating the entire temple to its current home on Agilkia Island during the 1960s to protect it from flooding caused by the construction of the Aswan dams.

Then, venture to the impressive High Dam, an engineering marvel built between 1960 and 1970. Stand in awe of its massive structure as you discover how it generates hydroelectric power, controls the Nile’s floods, and boosts agricultural productivity.
