What You Will See & Do
Day 1 – Boarding in Esna – El Kab – Quessia
Your Dahabiya adventure begins with a pick-up from your chosen location in Luxor at 9AM. Welcomed by your Djed host, you’ll be privately transferred from Luxor to Esna, located 50 km south. Upon arrival, the crew will guide you to board the Dahabiya. During the day you’ll explore the Esna Temple and stroll through local markets. Then, set sail towards El Kab, the ancient city of Nekheb, to discover temples and tombs. As the sun sets, the boat moors at a serene island where you’ll enjoy dinner either on the sundeck or on the picturesque banks of the Nile.

Day 2 – El Kab – Edfu – Wadi el Shat
In the morning you’ll awake to the gentle sway of the Nile and enjoy breakfast onboard as you sail towards Edfu. Marvel at the ever-changing scenery from golden desert sands to verdant forests of date palms.
Disembark to explore the impeccably preserved Temple of Horus, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. Later, cruise onwards to Wadi el Shat where you’ll explore the charm of small villages and desert landscapes. Anchor at a tranquil island for the night, where dinner is served amidst the serene ambiance.

Day 3 – Edfu – Gebel el Silsila – Kom Ombo
Relax on deck as the Dahabiya glides towards Gebel el Silsila. Set out to explore the rock-cut chapels and ancient monuments amidst sandstone quarries. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch on the sun deck as the boat sails towards Kom Ombo, where the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris awaits your exploration.
As evening descends, dine around a campfire by the Nile while embracing the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 4 – Kom Ombo – Daraw – El Koubania
Today your Dahabiya sails towards Daraw, once a bustling hub for camel traders from Sudan. Explore the village and immerse yourself in its vibrant camel market. Continue sailing towards El Koubania, a charming Nubian village near Aswan adorned with citrus and mango gardens.

Day 5 – Disembarkation in Aswan
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Dahabiya as your journey concludes in Aswan. Transfer to the airport or your next destination.
